Recently finished up a mixing/mastering project for Nashville based-artist Keith Leedham called “The One (feat. Phil Keaggy)”. Additionally I performed the bass, drums and some minor keyboards.
Today would have been my Dad’s 81st Birthday. He passed away some years ago. It took me a while to put things together in my head enough to write this song. This song has been a work in progress for far too long, but I can not think of a better day to release it than on his birthday.
I was unbelievably blessed to have Phil Keaggy (philkeaggy.com) agree to play guitar on this track. Along with my usual partner in musical crime Rob Kosinski (robkmusic.com) who contributed drums, bass, and some keys. We recorded and re-recorded this song a number of times trying to get it right. It is finally complete and ready to go out into the world!
I hope it’s a fitting tribute to my Dad, George Leedham.
As of this writing, Keith Leedham’s “The One (feat. Phil Keaggy)” is currently available for purchase and streaming on iTunes/Apple Music, GooglePlay, Amazon and CDBaby, but it will soon be available everywhere.
